Blacksands Seaview Cottage, Aberdour

A happy place by the bay. Positive: The location was superb. A short walk to the beach; fantastic views towards Edinburgh across the Firth of Forth; train station close by; a lovely village vibe and of course a fantastically welcoming, well designed house, full of comfort and quality. Negative: Nothing to mention.

Positive: Accueil impeccable, maison très agréable et équipements de qualité. Près de la mer. Village paisible. Train à 8 min à pied pour Edinbourg. Negative: RAS

Positive: The property was finished to a standard. An exceptional welcome hospitality pack was welcome. Little details showed a real care for the guest. Negative: Only problem was we could not get the TV to work. We have contacted hosts and they will rectify.

Beautiful home and amazing location Positive: Loved the location. And cottage was so comfortable and beautiful, Loved each room had its own bathroom.. Anne was also so responsive, especially when I had an issue with the overflow pipe in the bath water coming through one of the lights in the kitchen.. But she promptly replied that she would get a plumber to look at it ASAP.. Negative: It's not something Anne has much control over, but a new house is getting built next door. So, builders are there Monday to Friday 8.30am sharp, so it did cause some issues with noise, especially as the rest of the time it was so lovely and peaceful.
